Video technology

Colour cameras, which are furnished with a single chip CCD (Charge Coupled Device) sensor and analogue video interface, are normally used for monitoring process status in the visual spectrum. Relevant characteristic values can be calculated for the combustion processes and also for monitoring processes, with the aid of the video recordings. These can then be used for optimising combustion or for detecting defects. Modern CMOS cameras with a high dynamic range, which are employed for this purpose, offer additional capturing possibilities for a detailed evaluation.
